Description
The Via Verde (Green Route) de la Sierra runs along 36km of the old Jerez-Almargen railway track from Puerto Serrano to Olvera.
Walk, mountain bike or horse ride the stunning 36km route with its gentle gradients.
There are 30 tunnels along the route, the longest being the castle tunnel which is 990m long. There are also 4 viaducts, the Coripe one being 237m in length.
Enjoy the stunning countryside with its valuable species of flora and fauna.
On route Peñon de Zaframagòn is a chalky craggy rock dwelling, home to the biggest Griffon Vulture colony in Andalusia.
