Description
The Cutty Sark is the world's oldest Tea Clipper.
The ship has travelled around the world, under both the Red Ensign and the Portuguese flag, visiting every major port in the world.
She was preserved for the nation by Captain Wilfred Dowman in 1922, and since then, the Cutty Sark has been berthed in Falmouth and Greenhithe, before finally arriving at her current resting place in Greenwich, London in 1954.
Special Notes
The ship will re-open Summer 2010 when she will be revived, fully conserved, and ready to welcome back old friends and new.
