Fot those looking to have a blast there can be no better place than on Maho beach on the Dutch Antilles island of St Maarten.

Here the blast from the jet engines of the planes taking off at the Princess Juliana International Airport (Aeropuerto Internacional Princesa Juliana) gives those holding on to the fence, and those unwarily walking along the beaches, a blow experience like no other!

The rather short runway (read very bloody short for 747's) ensures its a great place for plane spotting, with crowd participation!

And due to the short runway on St Maarten the planes taking off need every inch, so they are pretty close to the Fence Surfing Crowd as they push forward the throttle levers and give them jet engines the berries!
