Projects Abroad sends volunteers abroad to 26 developing countries to do internships and service projects. Since being founded in 1992, we have grown to a team of 350 staff members around the world that sends over 7000 volunteers abroad every year. Volunteers get to choose their start dates and can go for as long as they wish. Our destinations include countries throughout Latin America, Asia, Africa, Eastern Europe, and more. Our projects range from more tradtional programs like Teaching and Care to more unique programs like Archaeology, Medicine, Conservation, and more.

Inclusions

Program fees cover food, accommodation, airport pick-up and drop-off, full coverage medical and travel insurance as well as 24 hour support from our local staff in the destination country.

Exclusions

Fees do not cover the airfare to and from the destination country although we do have a Travel Team that will be happy to help you arrange your flights.

Available

Programs run year-round and volunteers can choose the exact day of the year that they would like to begin as well as the duration of their program.
