What to Bring
NOTE: During a chamber "Ride" you are deliberately exposed to oxygen-void environments as well as reduced atmospheric conditions and can develop one or several of the conditions discussed in the Halo Briefing.

What Do I Wear?
It's cold up here - BUT THE VIEW IS AWESOME!
Typically, at 30,000 feet the temperature is 25-35 degrees below zero. At 25,000, 21 degrees below zero. We won't be up there long, but you will need to dress warmly. However you do not want to wear too much clothing, due to the fact that you will perspire (sweat) during the Pre-Breathing and on the ride to Altitude.
On a 25-30,000 ft. jump I wear the following:
Thermal Underwear - top and bottom.
Turtle neck long sleeve shirt.
Heavy wool socks with Jump boots. Tennis shoes are Ok...
Jumpsuit/flight suit: Military or sport. Loose fitting. No skin tight RW suits, your range of motion will be greatly reduced and you probably won't be able to get it over the additional clothing. I have several extra jump suits and flight suits if you need to use one.
Sport wrap or Balaclava. Covers neck and head. We have some extra balaclavas if you need to use one.
Flight gloves. Nomex with leather palms. I have several extra pair if needed.
Skydiving gloves with thermal inserts.
DRESS WARM, BUT MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT REDUCE YOUR RANGE OF MOTION IN YOUR ARMS.
PRACTICE REACHING FOR YOUR HACKY, CUTAWAY, AND RESERVE HANDLE, OFTEN!
Depending on your rig, the additional clothing may reposition the location of these handles, usually slightly higher on your chest.
We will be placing and positioning you in the plane, this will take several minutes and layered clothing will minimize your sweating on the deck (ground level).
AVOID WIND BURN BY NOT EXPOSING ANY SKIN DURING FREEFALL.
During the training and pre-jump I will cover these areas again....
BE SAFE IN YOUR FUN AND GET READY TO ENTER A LOT OF ZEROS IN YOUR LOG BOOK.
CLIMB HIGH/FALL SAFE...
