Short-term Travellers
These are individuals with one or two months to spare. For them, Lalli Singh arranges rentals since buying a bike would not be a cost-effective option. Also, a significant amount of time would be spent in getting the bike ready for the trip. Such short-term travellers can rent either 350 cc or 500 cc bikes at a month's notice.
For group tours coming to India, we can (subject to prior notice along with details of your group) arrange up to 10 bikes per group. Additional services designed specifically for group tours include the provision of back-up vehicles and skilled mechanics equipped with all the necessary tools.
Overland Travellers
Travellers doing an overland trip from India to Europe:Lalli Singh offers a major advantage to such travellers, by cutting short all the requisite formalities by buying and registering the bikes, customising the bike in line with the travellers specific needs, complying with the insurance requirements, and getting the necessary documentation done. The documents can then be forwarded to the traveller's country - all this could lead to a saving of 15 to 20 days.
At the traveller's end, the documents are received in advance enabling him to fix carnet de passage in his home country.
People purchasing bikes for overland Travels cannot register bikes in their names, as they can no more obtain the Carnet.
Long-term Travellers
These are individuals who have time on their hands - around five to six months, and they want to move around on a bike, seeing the country. At the end of this period, they either want a new bike, or they want to take the bike back with them.
