Description
La Médocaine (VTV - translated as Cycle through the vines) is a fun cycle event held annually in the Bordeaux region, around the end of May (please link through to their web site for the exact date).
There are several route choices ranging from 20km to 80km.
The emphasis is on fun.
The event involves over 6,000 cyclists having a great deal of fun and tasting some great wines - fancy dress, cycling and visiting many wine vinyards on route!
