Description
This charming desert oasis, surrounded by red golden sand dunes and curiously shaped hills, has always been an important stop on the caravan trail. Today it has become well known as the “Garden City”. The town winds itself around the border of the Sultanate of Oman.
We will pass by the archeological Hili tombs dating back ca. 5000 years, surrounded by a marvelous botanical garden. The history of the Bedouins is well displayed in the largest museum of the Emirates. The traditional camel market also gives the town a very special atmosphere. Al Ain is a fantasy of greenery and flowers in the middle of the golden desert.
