What could be cooler for kids aged between 8 and 15 than diving with Sharks?

Deep Sea World at North Queensferry near Edinburgh offer Childrens PADI Shark Adventure courses - a perfect activity for thrill seekers!

Qualified PADI diving instructors will teach the children about Scuba techniques before they get to dive in the main Deep Sea World 4.5m litre tank with real Sand Tiger sharks!

And there is no need for mom and dad to worry as there is a secure metal gate between the kids and the sharks!

Inclusions

We provide all the necessary scuba equipment and dry suit.

What to Bring

All you need is your towel and a warm set of clothes to wear under they dry suit we provide.

Special Notes

Once kitted up in dive gear, the children enter the pool and learn important breathing techniques. On completion of the skills training they head into the main tank where they see the sharks, rays and other animals right where they live.

On successful completion the children are rewarded with their Deep Sea World Shark Adventure Diver Certificate.

Booking Notes

You do not have to be a super swimmer to enjoy the Shark Adventure experience since the maximum depth is only 2m/6 ft, but you do need to be confident in the water.

The price includes entry for one adult/guardian. Extra people will be charged at norml entrance prices.

Dive slots are available during school holidays on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and on selected Saturday mornings at 9am. Please call for availability.

The Shark Adventure session takes around 90 minutes - the special dive pool team take you through the skills you need to get you started in diving.
