Located in Austria between Haiming, Sautens and Roppen, Area 47 is one of the most spectacular and innovative outdoor playgrounds
in the alpine region.
Area 47 occupies some 6.5 hectares of land, and combines nature and high-tech to give users an extraordinary recreational experience. Come and expereince everything from outdoor adventure, water park action and entertained dining.
Water Fun
Area 47's swimming lake has a sandy beach and a range of thrilling waterslides, water trampolines and a diving platform.
Additionally there is beach
volleyball, beach soccer and basketball courts and a Venice
Beach style gym.
AREA 47's water world is probably the sportiest 20,000m2 you’ll ever witness.
Spectacular moves can be pulled off at the boulder face suspended above the water, during a balancing act on the “Slackline” or while racing down the tubing stream. Adrenaline junkies, who want to develop their jump skills, can try to land a creative stunt into the water, on a snowboard or even on a bike when shooting down the water ramp. The surf waves on the Ötztaler Ache and the Inn rivers are only the cherry on the top of the ultimate Water Area.
Outdoor Area
AREA 47 is a climbers' paradise. Rock and Rope enthusiasts can clamber and balance 30m above the ground on the high rope course, test their physical limits on the giant climbing wall or race against the clock on one of the speed climbing routes.
Or try an exciting descent: swing across the Ötztaler Ache with the "Mega Swing" - liana or ride down the over 300 metre long "Flying Fox".
And outdoor fans who don’t mind getting wet will enjoy rafting
or kayaking on the Ötztaler Ache and Inn rivers, or trying canyoning
through the picturesque gorges of the Ötztal mountains, a region that is also very well known for its splendid mountain biking and climbing possibilities.
