MTB Biking Holidays Andalucia, southern Spain
Andalucia in Spain has built a solid reputation for having some of the world's best singletrack trails, technical down hills, free riding and cross-country mountain biking. Combine this with the wonderful climate for all year round mountain bike holidays and you will end up here, riding with the Andalucian Cycling Experience. Ride the trails and tracks of the Grazalema Natural Park, Serrania de Ronda and the Sierra de las Nieves, from epic cross country, mile after mile of testing single track, tough climbs, fast flowing downhills as well as some more gentle rides and you will see that we have the best mtb trails the world has to offer.
The terrain is well suited to going off road, from blasting down hill and excellent free riding to varied and testing terrain, but more importantly, quality single-track that may leave you breathless and at times worn out, but we hope, grinning from ear to ear at the end of the ride!
Whatever standard of mountain biker you are, Ashley who is a MTB instructor, will, upon request, take you through riding techniques to ensure that you will leave us a better rider than when you arrived on your Andalucian Cycling Experience mountain bike biking holiday.
The mountain bike riding is suitable for beginners and intermediate/advanced riders and is tailor made to suit your requirements.
Our intermediate/advanced mountain bike routes have mile after mile of fast, technical mountain biking on remote single tracks through the stunning countryside of Andalucia.
Our beginner mountain bike routes have mile after mile of mountain biking on trails and tracks between the beautiful 'Pueblos Blancos' (White Villages) of Andalucia.
We believe that we have created the perfect mountain bike biking holiday for enthusiastic riders of all abilities.
What to Bring
For your own comfort we recommend you bring 2-3 pairs of cycling shorts and as previously mentioned a Camelback for carrying those extra water supplies. For most of the year you will also need sunglasses, sun protection cream, aftersun lotion and a cotton scarf to protect the back of your neck from the sun. If you are prone to sun burn, then long sleeve t-shirts and full gloves will offer additional protection. Come during our Winter months, a rainproof jacket may be required. Finally don't forget your cycling helmet!!
